UNCLE JIM'S FUNERAL AND OTHER NEWS

UNCLE JIM'S FUNERAL AND OTHER NEWS.

A lovely service and meeting many members of the family was so nice.  Auntie Rose looked beautiful.  After over a year of  'incidents' I felt fine.  Everyone said I had lost so much weight.  Great. I don't feel any thinner but hey.

My first test was for my eyes by an OpthalmistI called Nick.  He was so thorough and it was good to know I didn't have any eye problems (except Foukes Disease).   had a C.T. Scan of my head on Tuesday.  This was after Julia, a very pushy sheep, catching her hoof in my shoe sent me crashing onto the concrete on my face and head.  Drs thought I may have a cerebral hemorrhage. I have been having debilitating headaches. The results will take about 2 weeks.  Had awful concussion.  Next week I am having an Xray on my hips.  Hopefully, having a metal allergy, I am not reacting to my metal hips.

Then, hopefully, I can return to normal.  Yeay.

It has all been quite a life changing experience (won't go into it but, hip replacement last June2018, lots of problems with that.  Just getting better in October when Julia smashed me into the concrete on my head, then, would you believe it, just before Christmas, I fell again.  This time it was my own fault.  The hospital told me to sit when putting knickers, trousers on and there I was, standing in the bathroom.  I caught my knickers on my left toes and fell sideways into the hall.  I smashed the ball off my other hip and had another hip operation that day.  Considerable recovery I'm afraid.

However, I am recovering, I am alive and I have heard such awful stories from others.  I feel LUCKY!
